Private lessons: All of our lessons are taught in our spacious and colorful North Hampton location.
Semi-private lessons: Several of our instructors offer semi-private lessons for students who would like to learn with a friend or relative. Please call our office for details and rates.
ARE (Adult Rock Ensemble) is offered every summer and is open to adults who would like experience playing in a band. The class is coached by a professional performer and concludes with a live “gig” at a local restaurant.
SYRE (Summer Youth Rock Ensemble) is offered every summer and is open to teens interested in learning to play in a band. The class is coached by a professional performer and ends with a live performance at a local venue.
Recorder Class for Kids is offered several times per year and is open to children aged 5 and 6 years old. Through this class students are introduced to learning to play an instrument, basic note reading, and writing their own piece of music. The class ends with a mini-concert for parents and friends.
Music Theory is offered both as private instruction and as a class several times per year. Students learn the basic elements of music, ear-training, and sight-singing. This class is offered for various levels, based on interest and need. It is highly recommend for college-bound music students.
All-State Jazz Guitar Audition Prep is offered in the fall and is an opportunity for high school guitarists to prepare the New Hampshire Jazz All-State audition with a professional coach.
Accompaniment: We offer high-end piano accompaniment for musicians working on or performing classical solo repertoire. Accompaniment rehearsals include musical coaching and can be scheduled as a one-time meeting, or an ongoing workshop.
College Counseling: Director, Trisha Craig, worked in student recruitment for a major conservatory before opening Music Makers. She has turned her experience and inside knowledge into an innovative system for helping music students choose and apply to college. College counseling is available privately and as a group class offered twice per year.
Masterclasses: Masterclasses are offered throughout the year and focus on a variety of topics. Some past masterclasses include Audition Preparation with Jonathan Cohler, The Life of a Musician with Eric Normand, Saxophone Skills with Ken Radnofsky, Jazz Flute Workshop with Mattan Klein, History of the Blues with TJ Wheeler, a book reading by Mike Girard, and many others.
Performance Opportunities: All of our students are encouraged to take advantage of performance opportunities throughout the year. These opportunities include the annual year-end Performance Day for traditional students, adult student soirees, the annual Honors Concert for all students by audition, the Holiday Cookie Party, a youth recital, and individual solo concerts.
